M66 Mirror Glaze Quick Detailer all in one cleaner wax

Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze Quick Detailer is a one-step cleaner wax that gives you excellent paint cleaning, shine, and wax protection. It quickly and safely removes oxidation and blemishes while restoring a deep gloss and leaving a durable carnauba wax finish. Specially formulated for high-production reconditioning, the large 1 gallon size provides cost efficiencies for body shops and professional detailers. Formulated for use by hand, rotary buffer or DA polisher like Meguiar's MT300 or Meguiar's DA Power System Tool.

Waxing your car: Selecting a wax

Car waxes come in various formats (liquid wax, paste wax and spray wax) and in various chemical makeups (carnauba, synthetic polymers, or SiO2 based). Other variables include ease of application and wipe off, gloss, defect removal, protection and durability. The “best” for you depends on which of these criteria best meets your needs for your car, in your environment.

Application for optimum results

Meguiar's recommends that the paint be properly prepared prior to application of M66 Mirror Glaze Quick Detailer.

1. Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly to remove all loose contaminants.

2. If the paint feels rough to the touch following a proper wash, then a clay bar should be used to remove these bonded contaminants. Doing so will make the wax application easier and allow the wax to last longer.

3. Light swirl marks and other minor defects can be addressed by M66 depending on the application process.

4. M66 Mirror Glaze Quick Detailer can now be applied by hand, DA polisher or rotary polisher.

5. When applying by DA or rotary polisher, tool speed selection and pad choice can impact overall defect removal. Higher speed and a more aggressive pad can increase defect removal, while lower speed and a less aggressive pad are recommended for light defects.

Additional application tips

A thin, uniform coat of wax is preferable to a heavy application.

How-to

• Hand application; add a small amount of wax onto a foam applicator pad and apply to the paint in overlapping motions
• DA polisher application; affix a foam disc to the tool, add a small amount of wax onto the disc, set tool speed to approx. 3500 OPM and apply the wax to the paint in a crosshatch pattern.
• Rotary polisher application; affix a foam pad to the tool, add a small amount of wax onto the paint, set tool speed to approx. 1000-1200 rpm and begin spreading the wax. Keep the pad as flat to the paint as possible to avoid creating rotary swirls.
• Pad selection will impact defect removal; a polishing pad will give more defect removal than a finishing pad.
• Apply additional car wax to the pad as needed until all painted surfaces are covered.
• Allow the product to dry to a light haze, about 10-15 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
• Remove with a quality microfiber towel.
