- Aggressively remove moderate to heavy paint imperfections. The Rupes Blue Coarse Foam Pad should be used for the first step of paint correction, compounding and leveling. The densely packed foam will easily eliminate heavy scratches, swirls, oxidation, and up to 1500 grit sanding marks from your surface.
- Specially designed for Rupes Polishers. The Blue Coarse Foam Pad is designed to withstand the increased wear associated with the large throw of Rupes Polishers. The open-cell foam is remarkably durable and can last through long polishing sessions without losing cutting power. It also adds balance to the polisher!
- Keep product on the work surface. The Rupes LHR 75E Mini features dual-action oscillation that dispenses compound from the foam cells of the Blue Coarse Foam Pad, constantly keeping product on the paint. This abrasive lubrication between the pad and work surface protects your paint and conserves product.
- Consistent, heat-reducing pressure. The Blue Coarse Foam Pad has a 24-degree beveled edge that ensures total surface contact when compounding. Large cell construction diminishes heat, making this pad ideal for temperature-sensitive paints.
- Great to use with several of Detail King’s compounds. The Blue Coarse Foam Pad is designed to be used with Rupes Zephir Gloss Coarse Gel, an aggressive cutting agent that removes heavy paint imperfections and leaves a high gloss. You can also use this pad with the Diamond Cut Step-One Leveling Compound, which eliminates medium-duty scratches and polishes. Both are great choices!
The Rupes Blue Coarse Foam Pad (4”) is designed to be used in conjunction with the Rupes LHR 75E Mini Random Orbital Polisher and the Rupes Zephir Gloss Coarse Gel for moderate to heavy paint compounding. Made with an open-cell foam that is durable, powerful, heat-reducing, and tailored to the long throw of Rupes Polishers, this pad is an excellent choice for the first step of paint correction! The 4” pad is ideal for compounding tight spaces, contoured areas of body panels, difficult shapes, and spot repairs.
